Aqidah

Aqidah (العقيدة ) berasal dari bahasa Arab (عَقَدَ) yang artinya: 'ikatan' atau 'sangkutan' atau 'menyimpulkan sesuatu'. Secara terminologis 'aqidah' berarti 'kepercayaan', 'keyakinan' atau 'keimanan' yang mantap dan tidak mudah terurai oleh pengaruh mana pun baik dari dalam maupun dari luar diri seseorang. Pengertian Aqidah dalam al-Quran adalah keimanan kepada Allah swt yakni mengakui kewujudan-Nya. Dari segi fungsinya Allah swt berperan sebagai Rabb (رب), Malik (ملك), dan Ilah (إله) seperti dapat dilihat dalam surah al-Fatihah ayat 1, 3, 4, surah al-Naas ayat 1, 2, 3. Berdasarkan ayat di atas, Aqidah Islamiyah dapat disimpulkan dengan rumusan Tauhid Rububiyah, Tauhid Mulkiyah, dan Tauhid Uluhiyah.
